The Degree in Psychology is aimed at training professionals equipped with the skills needed to succeed in any field of psychology and gain a better understanding of human behaviour in order to help society. Students on this program will learn theoretical concepts such as the history of psychology and fields of activity, intervention techniques in psychology, and developmental psychology from a leading faculty made up of leading professionals. However, key to this degree is the practical approach taken – with students taking part in internships and work placements totaling more than 600 hours – something that gives them valuable experience before they have graduated.

Psychology today faces new challenges related to the great global changes that are taking place and that are harming both individuals and society as a whole.
At our University, the academic model is based on the simulation of real clinical cases to develop the skills of future psychologists, allow them to better understand human behavior, and specialise in their area of interest.
You will learn how to identify and manage a wide range of pathologies in our Psychosocial Care Centre, authorised by the Autonomous Community of Madrid and in the psychology consultations located in our Simulated Hospital.
You carry out internships throughout the program. From the third year, you observe clinical practice with real patients in institutions and psychology centres. The Universidad Europea in Valencia has more than 30 agreements with institutions in the sector.
You will share activities with students from other areas of health: doctors, nurses, pharmacists, etc., to learn how to work in interdisciplinary teams, just like you will in the professional field.
Our methodology focuses on the simulation of real clinical cases for students to develop the skills needed to become future psychologists and understand human behaviour.
More than 600 hours of internships over the course of the programme. Starting in the third year, you will visit external centres to observe clinical practice with real patients. You can select up to four rotations.
You will have the possibility of earning the University Master’s Degree in General Health Psychology necessary to obtain the professional qualification as a General Health Psychologist in Spain.
Whether you choose dentistry, medicine, communication, sports management, or business, we will provide you with the education and tools necessary to get an understanding of the professional world. Through a combination of technology, practice-based learning, and real case studies, you will have all you need to succeed.
