Health professionals committed to quality care

You will learn how to evaluate and treat patients who have suffered an  injury or disorder, as well as get involved in  health promotion and prevention, seeking to protect people’s quality of life.

The biopsychosocial model in physiotherapy facilitates patient involvement and helps us identify all the personal and social aspects involved in their problem.

Humanisation in physiotherapy

A good physical therapist is a professional who, aside from being able to make responsible decisions based on sound knowledge, must be empathetic and have excellent communication skills with the patient. They must also be able to diagnose and treat multiple diseases and disorders.

In the current context, thanks to advances in technology in this field, a good physical therapist will be able, for example, to see what is happening with the patient’s tissues in real time when they are applying a physiotherapy technique or manoeuvre. This adds personalised safety and evidence to the treatment.

Accreditation

The only Spanish physical therapy degree accredited by the Word Confederation for Physical Therapy (WCPT), the institution that represents the profession of physiotherapy worldwide.

This seal of quality is a guarantee that we meet the most demanding international standards of academic quality: teachers, curricula, academic model, internships, clinical centres, etc.
