PURPOSE 1. Management and maintenance of information services.

Purpose: to initiate, manage and maintain the information services requested by the user on the range of products and services offered by the data controller.

Type of data: Identifying data, contact data and social circumstances data.

Basis of legitimacy: GDPR - art. 6.1.a) The data subject gives express and explicit consent to the processing of his or her personal data; where applicable, GDPR - art. 6.1.b) the processing is necessary for the implementation at the request of the data subject of pre-contractual measures.

PURPOSE 2. Sending of commercial communications from the ENTITY.

Purpose: Sending of advertising, promotional information or information that may be of interest to you regarding our academic programme by postal mail, email, SMS, messaging applications (WhatsApp, Telegram, Line, etc.) and other means of electronic communication of the University, about its services;
Type of data: Identification data and personal data.
Legitimate basis: GDPR - art. 6.1.a) The data subject gives express and explicit consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.

PURPOSE 3. Preparation of profiles and segmentation for marketing purposes through internal sources.

Purpose: Preparation of profiles through marketing studies and statistical and segmentation techniques and procedures that make it possible to make improvements and choose products and services suited to your characteristics and needs, through internal sources;
Type of data: Identification data, personal data and social circumstances data.
Legitimate basis: GDPR - art. 6.1.a) The data subject gives express and explicit consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.

PURPOSE 4. Compliance with applicable regulations.

Purpose: Compliance with those legal obligations imposed on the University in any order. The above may entail, depending on the case, responding to judicial and administrative orders.

Legitimate basis: GDPR - 6.1.c) Processing necessary to comply with a legal obligation applicable to the data controller.

To which recipients will your personal data be communicated?

The personal data processed by the University to achieve the purposes detailed above will not be communicated to companies outside the EUROPA EDUCATION GROUP.

We inform you that, in accordance with the responsible parties identified in this policy, your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area, specifically, in the Principality of Andorra. In this sense, your data may be transferred to the company that operates in said territory under the protection of the Commission's Adequacy Decision 2010/625/EU, of October 19, 2010

How long do we keep your data for?

Personal data will be kept as long as you have not exercised your right of erasure, and will be kept considering the legal terms that apply in each specific case, the type of data and the purpose of the processing.

The data will subsequently be blocked during the legally established periods to assume any liability resulting from the processing.

What are your rights in relation to our processing of your data?

The University informs you that you have the right to access your personal data and obtain confirmation of how these data are being processed. Likewise, you have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its erasure when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected by the University.

In certain circumstances, you may request the limitation of the processing of your data, in which case the University will only keep them for the exercise or defence of possible claims.

In any of the means, it is necessary to reliably prove the identity of the person exercising their rights.

The University will provide you with the information requested within a maximum period of one month from receipt of the request. This term may be extended by another two months if necessary, considering the complexity and number of requests.

You may withdraw consent at any time, if consent has been granted for a specific purpose, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.

You may file a claim with the competent Control Authority regarding data protection. However, in the first instance, you may file a claim with the Data Protection Officer, who will resolve the claim within a maximum of two months.

How long do we keep your data for?

Personal data will be kept during the term of the agreement and, afterwards, as long as you have not exercised your right of erasure, and will be kept considering the legal terms that apply in each specific case, the type of data and the purpose of the processing.

The data will subsequently be blocked during the legally established periods to assume any liability resulting from the processing.

What are your rights in relation to our processing of your data?

The ENTITY informs you that you have the right to access your personal data and obtain confirmation on how these data are being processed. Likewise, you have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its erasure when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected by the ENTITY.
