To which recipients will your personal data be communicated?

The personal data processed by the University to achieve the purposes detailed above will not be communicated to companies outside the EUROPA EDUCATION GROUP.

How long do we keep your data for?

Personal data will be kept as long as you have not exercised your right of erasure, and will be kept considering the legal terms that apply in each specific case, the type of data and the purpose of the processing.

The data will subsequently be blocked during the legally established periods to assume any liability resulting from the processing.

What are your rights in relation to our processing of your data?

The University informs you that you have the right to access your personal data and obtain confirmation of how these data are being processed. Likewise, you have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its erasure when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected by the University.

In certain circumstances, you may request the limitation of the processing of your data, in which case the University will only keep them for the exercise or defence of possible claims.

In any of the means, it is necessary to reliably prove the identity of the person exercising their rights.

The University will provide you with the information requested within a maximum period of one month from receipt of the request. This term may be extended by another two months if necessary, considering the complexity and number of requests.

You may withdraw consent at any time, if consent has been granted for a specific purpose, without this affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent prior to its withdrawal.

You may file a claim with the competent Control Authority regarding data protection. However, in the first instance, you may file a claim with the Data Protection Officer, who will resolve the claim within a maximum of two months.

Admission management of students.
Management of student records.
Student card.
Management of University’s mobile application.

PURPOSE 2. Management of activities from the University.

Purpose: Management of activity from the University (volunteering, sports, Student Ombudsman, Professional Careers department, etc.).
Type of data: Identification data, personal data, social circumstances data, academic data and economic and financial data.
Legitimate basis: GDPR - art. 6.1.b) Processing necessary for the development and carrying out of the relationship entered into with you.

PURPOSE 3. Image recording during work sessions on the virtual campus.

Purpose: Recording of the image in the work sessions on the virtual campus for teaching purposes, if you have consented.
Type of data: Identification data and personal data.
Legitimate basis: GDPR - art. 6.1.a) The data subject gives express and explicit consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.

PURPOSE 4. Sending of commercial communications from the ENTITY based on the evaluation of your profile through internal sources.

Purpose: Sending of advertising, promotional information or information that may be of interest to you by postal mail, email, SMS, messaging applications (WhatsApp, Telegram, Line, etc.) and other means of electronic communication from the ENTITY, about its services; All of which based on the preparation of profiles through marketing studies and statistical and segmentation techniques and procedures that make it possible to make improvements and choose products and services suited to your characteristics and needs, through internal sources;
Type of data: Identification data and personal data.
Legitimate basis: GDPR - art. 6.1.a) The data subject gives express and explicit consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes. GDPR – art. 6.1.f) The processing is necessary to satisfy legitimate interests pursued by the data controller.

PURPOSE 5. Sending of commercial communications from the ENTITY once the relationship with it has ended.

Purpose: Sending of advertising, promotional information or information that may be of interest to you by postal mail, email, SMS and other electronic means of communication from the ENTITY, once your relationship as a student with the University has ended, if you have consented.
Type of data: Identification data and personal data.
Legitimate basis: GDPR - art. 6.1.a) The data subject gives express and explicit consent for the processing of their personal data for one or more specific purposes.

PURPOSE 6. Compliance with applicable regulations.

Purpose: Compliance with those legal obligations imposed on the University in any order. The above may entail, depending on the case, responding to judicial and administrative orders.
Type of data: Identification data and personal data.
Legitimate basis: GDPR - 6.1.c) Processing necessary to comply with a legal obligation applicable to the data controller.

To which recipients will your personal data be communicated?

Personal data processed by the ENTITY to fulfil the above-mentioned purposes may be communicated to the following recipients depending on the legitimate basis of the communication.

By virtue of the above, the following data communications seek to guarantee the correct development of the contractual relationship, as well as to comply with legal obligations that require the aforementioned communications:

Regional, state, European or international Public Organisations and Administrations.
Financial managers, information about academic results, if you have consented.
Issuing entity of the university degree.

How long do we keep your data for?

Personal data will be kept during the term of the agreement and, afterwards, as long as you have not exercised your right of erasure, and will be kept considering the legal terms that apply in each specific case, the type of data and the purpose of the processing.

The data will subsequently be blocked during the legally established periods to assume any liability resulting from the processing.

What are your rights in relation to our processing of your data?

The ENTITY informs you that you have the right to access your personal data and obtain confirmation on how these data are being processed. Likewise, you have the right to request the rectification of inaccurate data or, where appropriate, request its erasure when, among other reasons, the data is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected by the ENTITY.

In certain circumstances, you may request the limitation of the processing of your data, in which case the ENTITY will only keep them for the exercise or defence of possible claims.

Likewise, in certain circumstances, you may oppose the processing of your personal data for the purpose informed by the ENTITY. In this case, the ENTITY will stop processing personal data, unless there are legitimate reasons not to, or to guarantee the exercise or defence of possible claims.
